Text Message Time! 📱
Camp season is here, and we know you are all as excited as we are! ⛺️🛶
Just wanted to give you a friendly nudge to remind your families about enabling text messaging in the SchoolDoc/CampDoc application. It's a small but mighty step that can make a big difference in keeping everyone in the loop. By activating this feature, families will receive important updates, event reminders, and emergency alerts right on their phones.
If you don’t already have text messaging enabled it’s super easy! Just reach out to your Client Success Manager.
You can direct your families to the Text Message Alerts support page for instructions on how to enable text messages.
You can check to see if your families have enabled text messages by running a text message report.
How does your organization use text messages? Or if you don’t use them currently, how do you think they might be helpful? Comment below!

I use them + the filter feature to send text messages to families with incomplete applications! I also share bus departure and arrival information with families. It's been challenging for some of our families who do not use CampDoc at all - they still fill out their applications on paper - so the text message feature is not a 100% solution, more like a 95%, and I'm comfortable with that!

You can find specific instructions for adding images to the Send Message feature in this Markdown Images article, Madeleine. The image has to be hosted in a place where it is available to the public (not just located on your computer). The image is being added to the email through a link to the image rather than copied and pasted directly into the body of the message.
