00:11: A powerful new self authoring tool within the camp.
00:14: Dock and school doc platform Builder will give your organization
00:18: more control greater flexibility and valuable time-saving
00:23: capability when it comes to managing your participant forms.
00:27: In this video, we're going to take a closer look at how Builder puts the power into your
00:31: hands. Giving you the flexibility to create edit and customize
00:35: your platform to meet the specific needs of your organization.
00:39: So first we should answer the question.
00:42: What is Builder? Great question.
00:44: And I'm so glad you asked. Builder is the actual tool that you'll use to
00:48: create and customize your forms.
00:50: Whether you need to make a quick edit to a waiver or build a whole new form from
00:55: scratch Builder. Puts that power right in your hands.
00:58: You can create steps at a questions, add authorization.
01:03: And manage modules like allergies medications and more once
01:07: your updates are ready. What you build is what your participants will see.
01:11: You might wonder, why should I use the Builder? Well, Here are
01:15: a few key benefits of using Builder, First full customization,
01:20: you've always had control over what questions are asked and how they're
01:24: organized, but now you can directly add remove
01:28: edit and organize them yourself.
01:30: Second draft Mode work safely in an active
01:34: draft set without affecting live forms until you're ready.
01:39: Third is your own timeline. You can build questions forms and make
01:43: edits whenever works best for your organization.
01:47: And while those edits are on your schedule, you can also book consultation calls

Builder Layout Walkthrough
00:06: Well, hi there and welcome. Are you ready for a builder tour? I know we sure
00:10: are. My name is Phil and I'm with the doc Network training team.
00:14: I'm here to walk you through the Builder layout and key areas you
00:18: should become familiar with. As you learn this tool, if you already have Builder enabled in your account,
00:22: feel free to open up the platform in a separate window if that's possible for
00:26: you and follow along as we go. Let's start at the beginning.
00:31: After logging in, we'll go to settings.
00:34: Builder. Here at the top, you'll see four tabs.
00:39: The first is active draft sets. This is your workspace and where
00:43: you'll find your changes waiting to be applied.
00:46: In other words before they go live, Within this tab, you
00:50: can create an edit draft sets.
00:53: Make drafts public or private.
00:57: Or permanently delete draft sets. As a tip, we recommend only
01:01: having one active.
01:03: Draft set at a time. If more than one provider at your organization has
01:07: Builder access. We recommend that only one provider be in the active
01:11: draft set at a time. Apply draft set This
01:15: keeps a record of the changes you've already applied.
01:17: It's helpful for tracking, your progress and referencing past updates.
01:23: It also includes the name of the person who applied it and the timestamp of
01:27: when it was applied. Use this historical record of Applied draft sets
01:31: to reference the last round of changes made in the participant, Health profile, forums
01:36: Live questionnaire. This shows you exactly what your participants
01:40: are seeing right now in their participant, Health profile forms depending
01:44: on their registration and any subgroup restrictions, use this table
01:49: to review the steps and questions, your participant currently see.
01:53: You can export a CSV file of your forms or find a keyword within
01:57: your forms using Ctrl and F for the search function.
02:03: Templates. This displays the form templates available to your organization.
02:06: You can create private templates accessible to you only and
02:11: view all public templates created within your organization's questionnaire.
02:15: Now, let's go ahead and go into an active draft set.
02:20: The editor panel is the center panel where you create steps and
02:24: edit create and deactivate questions.
02:27: What are steps and questions you ask. Steps are the top level
02:32: grouping of questions that help to organize your forms.
02:35: Think of them as Pages or sections within a set of forms like
02:40: diet and activity or health history, Questions
02:44: are any of the fields that appear within a step.
02:46: Such as parent name, T-shirt size, is this
02:50: your child's first time at camp? Or even height and weight? There
02:54: are several different types of questions and various ways to configure and customize each
02:59: type. Check out the Builder terminology guide on our support site.
03:03: Learn more key, Builder, vocabulary, and get you more familiar with this tool questions,
03:07: overview panel. This right side panel is where you filter move,
03:12: copy, paste and bulk update questions.
03:16: The filter list. This right side list is where you can apply filters
03:20: to narrow down the list of questions to view or to which you want to apply bulk
03:24: edits. Filter by question type exploration, subgroup restrictions
03:28: and more. For more information on the various filter options, visit
03:33: our support site. Question metadata field when
03:37: you select to edit a question or sub-question in the editor panel
03:41: this right side. Question metadata field is activated Here,
03:47: you can set an expiration and or lockout date.
03:50: Apply restrictions and create translations.
03:55: Collapse and expand. These are the icons found within the editor
03:59: panel and questions overview panel that allow you
04:03: To minimize or collapse or maximize and expand your view of steps
04:07: questions and forms or the form headers.
04:11: And finally create this button is used to create a new stepper
04:15: question inside or under if applicable create under means
04:20: creating a question physically beneath, or after another question
04:24: create inside. Means creating a question nested
04:28: within another question or step. All questions are inside of a
04:32: step, and I'll sub-questions are inside of other questions.
