We're going to take a look at an overview of the tags 00:10: feature within our application tags are like customizable labels 00:14: that you can attach two profiles making it a breeze to filter through the list 00:18: Builder which can further help in generating reports sending messages as 00:22: well as filtering through the emaar and attendance lists tags 00:26: are incredibly useful for tracking data that may not be be recorded 00:30: in your registration or health forms. 00:33: We often tell organizations to think of tags, like groups within groups 00:38: think of tags like labels for your profiles. 00:41: They can represent various categories such as cabins or Bus 00:45: locations or graduation year. Once you've set up your tags, 00:49: which you can learn how to do in our how to edit tags video. 00:53: The next step is assigning them to your participants. 00:57: You have three options for assigning tags individually in 01:01: bulk or via an import to assign tags individually, simply 01:05: navigate to the profile list select the desired profile 01:10: and assign tags from the tags tab within each participant's profile. 01:18: The second way to update your tags is to update them in bulk in 01:23: this case. Let's narrow our list down to 01:27: all 10 year olds that brings 01:31: us to five profiles will simply hit select all 01:35: so we choose all five profiles. 01:39: Then we go over to power tools select 01:44: update tags. And update the appropriate tag 01:49: in this case will say all 10 year olds are in the red 01:53: group. Finally 01:57: the last way is to import your tags. This is ideal for a large group that 02:01: you're pulling from another system along with importing groups participants 02:06: and registrations. You can also import tags ensure each 02:10: category of information is in its own column and each row includes 02:14: a first name last name date of birth and 02:18: identifier if applicable for the participant and there 02:22: you have it tags are a powerful tool for organizing your data and streamlining 02:27: amas.
